Randy Jackson (American Idol judge) was praising a performance and he referred to it as “The baddest.” Natalie looked at me with raised brows and asked, “Baddest?”
I explained that about 25 years ago some people started using the word “bad” to mean “good” in slang/street talk.
She said, “I know, but ‘baddest’? Wouldn’t it be ‘worst’?”
