Most of my cow jokes are one-liners and are, admittedly, silly.
However, one day I told the kids of two cows, both named Patricia, that jointly supervised a whole herd. They were kind to their staff. Extra special kind.
One day, a few of their herd wanted some time off to participate in a huge onion-pickling race to raise money for educational children’s TV. Each program would start a team at various intervals.
So, what did the workers say to their bosses?
"Two all-beef Pattys, special boss, let us please pickle onions on the Sesame Street gun."
I know, it is a stretch at best, but the funny thing is that my kids didn’t get it. They had no idea.
