Not Quite Full

My wife has mentioned that sometimes I am a little oblivious to certain household chores needing to be done. I am guilty as charged, but I’m not sure that it is a correctable issue. I am trying. One bad habit is that I don’t empty the inside trash cans often. I don’t think the problem is laziness; I don’t mind the job. The problem is that no matter what, I think that it is not quite full. I can get my lone piece of garbage in there. It is like a challenge to my manhood.

I don’t know what signal I was waiting for. There weren't going to be flashing lights or a voice or a memo. Sometimes it is so full that I just balance my trash on top. Well, maybe there would be a voice sometimes. It sounded a lot like Kara and was asking who used the step stool to try to balance a yogurt cup on top of the trash pile. Yeah, I would hear that voice.

This is one my biggest issues. The kids and Stephen will see how high they can get the pile without losing it's balance. And even when it loses it's balance they try to quickly walk away like they didn't notice. Aaaaaaargh!
