Ryan could not have any grade below 70 (as of Friday) or else he would not be eligible to go on the choir trip this coming weekend. In his four solids, he got an 83, 71, 71, and 70. If you look at those marks NOT as a percentage of 100, but relative to where he was aiming (70) he overachieved. In fact, he worked too hard. The 70 was really 69.63 (rounds to 70) and he proudly said, “13 hundredths to spare!”
