It was about 30 minutes away, and although I don’t prize frozen treats quite like the rest of my family, it was good. The nice thing about it was there were board games available inside and a tetherball court outside. There was a breeze and we had a nice time.
It has been a while since the six of us have traveled anywhere together. After we got home, I said to Kara, “Some day they will all mature and not quarrel.” She said, “Yeah, today is not that day.”
Besides the minor commute squabbling, it was a perfect couple hours. There have been a handful of times in my life that I thought, "Is this what heaven is like?" and hoped it was so. It wasn't the checkers, or the tetherball, or even the snow cones - it was just being surrounded by my wife and all our children in a situation where we took a break from all our cares and just enjoyed being together.

we love bahama bucks. Did you add cream? I bet it's awesome to have all 6 together again. The best kind of reunion.
My mom learned that by the time all the kids are old enough to not quarrel, the grandkids are old enough to fill in for them.
glad you had such a fun day!
