B is for Burn

After school today Natalie asked Kara if we could build a fire. It has been unseasonably chilly but not that cold.

“Why?” Kara asked.

“So I can burn this” was the reply as Nat held up a certificate showing A/B Honor Roll.

She’s OK with the A part, just not the B.

She got one B in Social Studies.  Yeah, she might be our most academically sensitive child. (Ryan might get the “No A/B” Honor Roll.)
