Last night we were planning on going out to dinner. Around 4 p.m. Kara asked me, “What time do you want to leave for the restaurant?” I don’t know. “6:30?” I offered weakly. She said that on a Friday night leaving that late would probably result in a long wait (because that is when people like to eat.)
“6:00? I don’t care.”
She said, “Still kinda late. By the time we get down there…should we leave earlier?”
I don’t know why she is asking me. Seriously. Ladies? What is going on? She knows I don’t care and I don’t think it’s just indecision on her part. She knows exactly when she wants to leave. 5:22 p.m. Why does she feel the need to make me guess what she’s thinking? I might think that maybe she just doesn’t want to have to make every last decision, but she does want to. Maybe she’s just trying to be nice and get my opinion.

Stephen just made this very comment to me the other day. So funny.
Perfect! So what are you thinking? Why not just say it? "I think we should leave at twenty after five, K?" Done.
oposite here...Doug asks my opinion but he really is waiting for me to tell him the answer he wants to hear...Doug thinks it's hixon thing...we just don't care.
In our small circle here in SB, the questions is not when, but where. I ask it. She says she doesn't care. I then name a restaurant that I care about. She says she doesn't like that one. And so on, until we get to the one she had in mind in the first place! UUUUUGGGHHH
oooooh Larry just noted my other problem.
Happy Birthday Dave!!
I'm thinking IX-NAY on the last part you just said.
Validation.
That's all. Just to know that the time we choose is the right time.
And to be nice and consider the feelings of our other half.
Oh, and every time I drive past the new 7-11 at main and the tollway, I think of your family!
Happy b-lated B-day! I just turned 37, so that makes you 36! We are going back the other way--turned the other at 40.
She wants you to know what she wants and state it.
