It's The Bomb

Just at the close of Family Home Evening tonight we heard an ice cream truck drive by. Just in time for refreshments! Kara nodded assent and Ryan darted out the door. With a few dollars in hand Erika followed him and they returned with Fudgsicles for all.

Ryan said, “We never get to buy from an ice cream truck; I think that was my first time. When you were young Dad, didn’t you, like, buy from him all the time?” I told him that yes, we did frequent the ICT more often back in the day, but not that much. We were a little short on the coin, if you know what I mean. I remember the coolest treat on the board was a 25 cent, red, images white, and blue popsicle – The Firecracker Bomb Pop. He was familiar with it; we buy boxes of bomb  pops at the grocery store. We go through about four boxes of Popsicles a week. My kids have an ice cream truck in the laundry room freezer.  No exhaust fumes, no grumpy salesman, and everything's free.
