Censored

Last night Natalie made a memorable comment that made us laugh aloud.  Taken at face value, was at one of her uncle’s expense. Seconds later she warned, “Do NOT put that on your blog or anywhere.”

Kara later said to write it anyway; no one in my household reads my blog anyway. It was harmless. The uncle in question would not take offense; he would find it funny. Kara said that Natalie doesn’t have the right to censor what I write.

While I agree that I don’t think she has the legal redaction right, a chuckle or two is not worth the potential embarrassment she might feel or the loss of trust in me.

I suppose it might be unsettling to know that anything you do or say might be immediately published. This time I will defer to her wishes. Sorry.

Bummer! She didn't say you couldn't tell us at Thanksgiving...
