He Loves me Knot

This morning Ryan asked me to help him tie his new Easter tie. Why haven’t I taught him this yet? I then realized that I don’t do this every week; in fact it has probably been a year since I last did this (at Easter). Somewhere in the back of my mind I know that he doesn’t untie his ties, he just loosens tham and slides them over his head. Every week. That would mean that the knots around his neck might be relics, 2005 or 2006. So, this afternoon he spent his “personal development hour” learning to tie a tie. He learned the “half Windsor” pretty quickly. He asked about the full Windsor, but lost interest when I told him I haven't done one in 20 years, when ties were much skinnier.
