My nutritionist recommended that I eat turkey bacon as a source of low fat protein. What? I didn’t even know that existed. I thought bacon was unique to pigs. If it were just a fowl body part, I think KFC would have discovered it long ago. I remain suspicious, like soy milk. (Do soy beans have little udders?)
So what is turkey bacon? Is there turkey pastrami? Turkey corned beef? Maybe they’ve figured a way to cross-breed pigs and turkeys and I imagine some flightless bird with a snout running around the barnyard saying, “oibble-oibble.” Not real appetizing.

I love turkey bacon. I discovered it through the South Beach diet. I think I prefer it to normal bacon now.
P.S. even Dan likes it. That is saying something.
I am sure that you have had it and didn't even know it
