Recently I heard a radio ad that used the worn-out phrase: ”Where the customer is #1.” Clearly advertising creativity is not #1.
But what does that tired catchphrase even mean? Customer service is their highest priority? The customer is #1 out of what? What (or who) is #2? You know, if they wanted to bump up quality and low price to the top spots I’d be fine with being, say, #6.
