Dig Site

The other day Erika asked if I could fetch her boots from the back of Amanda’s car. When I opened the back door I knew I had a problem.

You see, Amanda is naturally “cluttery,” figuring to tidy up during a free moment. And she does, periodically. Apparently she has been very busy lately. The back of her car was filled with clothes, books, hangers, hair grooming gear, etc. There was footwear too, but I didn’t see boots. I began digging. I uncovered fast food packaging, dishes, sandals, a vase, a fossil, an archeologist, Jimmy Hoffa, and a bank statement from 2004, but no boots. I kept digging. I threw away a lot of things. I found a shovel which sped things up but before I uncovered the boots, I found a booklet called “Confronting Your Hyperbole Abuse.” I threw that in the trash.

Hey did Dave Tout come over and teach her how to do that? I seem to remember somebody else using a back-seat as a "catch-all."

good times!
