In preparation for Back-to-School clothes shopping last week, we asked the kids to make a list of what they felt they needed. I knew we had a problem when I read the first item on Erika’s list.
“20 shirts/tops”
20? That is 18 more than the number of decimal places she knows pi. (17 more than I wore my whole 8th grade year.) 20? Sorry Missy. Maybe FHE this week will be on the difference between “want” and “need” or at least on provident living.

and she could also take along a different spatula each day.
Laughing at the spatula comment. I can just see Erika waving a different spatula around school every day for 17 days.
