As my son has been learning to drive, I have noticed that he very dutifully adjusts the seat and all mirrors before igniting the engine. That is good. Thus it is somewhat ironic that he is so hasty when parking in our garage. Sometimes he forgets to put the car in park and he always forgets to turn off the headlights. The other day he did put the transmission in park, it was daytime so headlights weren’t on, but he forgot to turn off the engine! Oh, it may be a long year.

Hey, Kaylee just got her license too--yippee. She did manage to bump the side of the garage backing out, but better our garage than a new Beemer in the parking lot! The year is getting shorter.
Does Ryan have a permit? If so, are they good for a year or what?
