Share Time goes international

About a month ago I saw a blog with a little map thing that plotted where your visitors were from. I thought it was cool. I don't know how it works, is it based on where you say you are from in you profile, where you really live, or where you are at the moment. I don't know, but when I learned that it was free, I had to try it. I started a different map this past weekend so everything reset but I think I like this one better. As expected, most of my hits are from Dallas, Phoenix, Southern California, and the Wasatch front. There is a smattering of other places too, which I think is cool, but today I got my first international hit. (Click on map at the bottom of the page.) What is that, Sweden? It is probably just some Swede that was blog surfing, saw that this blog wasn't in her language, and had very few pictures, and moved on, but still, SWEDEN. That is fun.

Hey, I don't know if you know me. I'm Michelle Kerr - I used to be in the ward. My husband, Pete was in Iraq and my daughter and I lived with my parents, the Geberts. Anyway, I like your blog!! Your family is a hoot! So, if you see hits from Waco, TX that's us trying to stay up on some of the Frisco 6th families :)

Hi Michelle. Of course I know you. Not only was your brother Amanda's first date, but I served in the HP group leadership with your dad. And Pete was Amanda's seminary teacher. I'll do my best to keep you up to date from our perspective!

Update: Two more international locations popped up today. IT looks like Quebec and somewhere in China; too far south for Beijing. (Do you think they'll read about the Olympics?)

How cool would it be if the blog surfer was Agnetha or Björn or Benny or Anni-Frid?

I'd re-name the site Dancing Queen.

(Hey, I never noticed the first letter of their first names spell the band name. Whattdaya know.)

The fact that I didn't know something that was blatantly obvious to you doesn't bother me at all. What did Rachel say? You have a freakish knowledge of everything? Yeah, you knew why the "Red Skies" phenomenon was true. Did you take a class in meteorology and Scandinavian band naming trivia? I'll bet that between you, the Murphys and Skows, you know everything.
